Kasmir did the widows-peak "Victorias finisher from WWE" on Mystic Juvenile on a chair to make him bleed
Kismir held onto Double D as Smoke A was going for a clothesline and D moves as A hits Kasmir, then Kasmir hits Smoke A with Dan O'Mannleys cane to make A bleed and cost his team the match

2.BARBWIRE BASEBALL BAT MATCH:"The Baker" Josh Jewell pinned The Convict in 7:19
when Baker finished Convict off by nailing him with his baking sheet

3.Bobo Brazil Jr. defeated Gypsy Joe by disqualification in 4:15
when Buzz Dupp ran in and attacked Bobo

4.THUMBTACK MATCH:"Mean" Mike Woods pinned "Pothead" Just John in 10:04 in the caged ring
after the match Pondo ran in and started attacking John then Lonestar ran in and got double-teamed by Pondo and Mike, as they worked on his leg

5.LADDER MATCH:CCW LIGHTWEIGHT TITLE MATCH:Ricochet defeated Chuck Taylor when Dan O'Mannley handcuffed Chuck to the bottom rope, Ricochet aligned himself with Dan O'Mannley

6.CCW TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH:The Bad Boys defeated Rex Sexton and Ty Blade by pinfall
when Rex had Charlie cornered in the caged ring as Ty had a small package hooked on Chris Thomas then Jason Cain hooked a small package on Ty to win the match "I think that's who pinned Ty"

7.GRUDGE MATCH:FANS BRING WEOPENS MATCH: The Necro Butcher and Lonestar defeated Mike Woods and Mad Man Pondo
Necro and Mike started brawling in the caged ring as Lonestar and Pondo were brawling in the regular ring, then Necro and Mike started brawling in the crowd "where I was at" in the ring Pondo set up a chair with lighttubes on it, he was getting ready to irishwrip Lonestar into the chair, and Lonestar reverse the wrip as Pondo ran into the chair, Necro and Mike brawled back into the ring, Lonestar and Mike ended up brawling outside, inside the ring Pondo sat Necro into the corner, and laid an "uneven pavement" sign over Necro and Pondo threw a chair at the sign, Pondo Russian legsweeped Necro onto a plastic Coca Cola bottle wrapped in thumbtacks
Charlie Lowes woman ran in and tried choking Lonestar out, then Lonestar pulled her off his back and let Penelope take care her as Lonestar hooked Pondo into a small package for the win
after the match, Charlie was telling us to chant CCW for Charlie Championship Wrestling

Yea, he was. That was extremely dissapointing that Terry Bull has been advertised at the past two CCW Shows I've been at and hasn't been there either time. The show had it's moments, but I wasn't big on the show overall. I may post more thoughts on the show later this week if I ever get time.

I have to second guess Canadian Dream on his view of last weeks show. I was very disappointed after the Memorial Cup show. I thought that show sucked for the hype. This past week though at Stairway to hell I was impressed with the product that CCW produced. Other than the tag match which bored me but I think that is just bc the Bad Boys aren't any good. I thought the show was very good overall. I don't attend many CCW shows mainly just the ones with Necro on the card. If CCW can continue to produce a better product, say like last weeks show a couple times a month I believe more people including myself will attend more shows on a regular basis. I have always enjoyed seeing Pondo work and I hope he can be in Evansville on a more regular basis when he is not working in Japan.

I would like to see a little more talk about last weeks show on here. Come on people the show was good and now nothing almost all week. Any word on this week's card? I can't attend this week but other people might want to know what's going on?

It's cool that you disagree on that, 181174. I also agree that the Memorial Show wasn’t great (except for the last match with Necro and the Lightweight Match). I pretty much only go to the shows with Necro or other cool stuff announced these days as well. I also go to the shows where Terry Bull is “announced” as being there. I just thought that Necro was very tame on this show and wasn't his usual crazy self. He may have been trying not to hurt himself since King of the Deathmatches were coming up, so it was understandable.

1. Mystic Juvenile and "Double D" Diddley Dudley vs. Smoke A and Kasmir Hunk - 1st Blood
-This match was actually ok. The ending was a little botched and slow, but I thought the match was pretty good overall.

2. The Baker vs. The Convict - Barbwire Bat
-The Convict makes it WAAAAY to obvious that he is blading. Baker barely hits him with the bat, and he cuts the hell out of himself plain as day. Then he cuts his back, arm, and stomach. The man even continued to blade after the match was over. Ridiculous. I don't see that as Hardcore. I see it as stupid. Anyone can cut themselves. Do some cool spots and I'll give some credit. The last match I saw of his with Pondo was cool because they were slamming each other on cool contraptions and I thought that he was good in that match. But seeing people stand there and cut themselves is not my thing. There is more to Hardcore than just blood.

3. Bobo Brazil Jr. vs. Gypsy Joe - Chopfest
-I enjoyed this match. Gypsy Joe is the man. You could hit that man with a truck and he wouldn't feel it. He rules. The chops in this match were nice. The ending was pointless though. Buzz Dupp ran out for no reason whatsoever, unless Bobo is going to be there again to face him or something.

-THE LONGEST INTERMISSION ever. After all of these years, CCW still hasn't changed. The shows still start waaay late and the Intermissions still go waaaay long. There should only be one intermission and it should not last longer than 5 minutes. Give people enough time to pee and smoke and that should be it. We don't want to stand around for 30 minutes with nothing to do. We can do that at home.

-Stupid segment with AVI. They rambled quite a bit. Shouldn’t this have been during the Intermission?

4. Mean Mike Woods vs. Pothead John - "Thousands of Thumbtacks" Match
-This match was terrible. I'm not going to sugarcoat it at all. It was horrible. Thousands of Thumbtacks. Yeah right. There were like 10 and they weren't even used much. Whenever they went to the cage, I was ready for the next match to start.

5. Ricochet vs. Chuck Taylor - CCW Lightheavyweight Title Ladder Match
-The belt was way too low. Chuck laughed about it at first. That was pretty funny. The match was good, but not as good as you would expect from these two. It just seemed off. That's cool though. It was still Match of the Night for me. (maybe a tie with Gypsie)

6.The Bad Boys vs. Rex Sexton and Ty Blade - CCW Tag Title Match
-Ty Blade was wasted in this one. He was the only one worth watching if you ask me. Rex Sexton is bad. The Bad Boys are also bad, but not in the way that they think they are.

7. The Necro Butcher and Lonestar vs. Mike Woods and Mad Man Pondo - Fans Bring the Weapons
-This was decent. I was extremely dissapointed and pissed that Terry Bull was announced and for a second time in a row, wasn't there. It wouldn't make me so mad if they would actually mention it and explain why he isn’t there. Instead, they just acted like he wasn’t supposed to be there and replaced him with Mike Woods. Again, I thought Necro was pretty tame. But the match was still ok. Pondo’s mic work after the match was awesome. I love Pondo on the mic.

Main Event: Stairway To Hell - 2 Rings - 1 Cage - 1 Title - Battle Royal
-The main event was pretty entertaining. I would've loved to see Necro beat the crap out of some more people (namely Bishop), but he entertained nonetheless. I didn't really understand why Necro just left. If you got thrown out of the cage, were you eliminated? That was never really announced. If so, then it's weird because Ty Blade went to the ring after getting thrown out of the cage. I’m glad that Chuck Taylor won the Title. He is probably the best thing CCW has going right now, so putting the Title on him is smart. If Rex Sexton would’ve got it, I definitely would’ve been taking some time off from CCW.


-Overall, I guess the show was decent. Sorry if the Review is somewhat negative, but that is how I felt about the show. The long start to the show and the long Intermissions just really kill the crowd and the atmosphere. If you noticed, they were pretty quiet after the 3rd match. We were the only ones making any noise during the Chuck Taylor/Richochet match. I don’t understand why CCW just can’t start on time and keep the show running smoothly. IWA MS and UCW can both do it very well, so it can be done. Keep bringing in Necro or bring back Chris Hero or the Indianapolis crew (Vortex, Clifton Crunk, Polaris, Brandon Prophet) and I’ll probably still come if those other problems are fixed. Chris Hero vs. Chuck Taylor would be gold.
