I know it was just last night but im kinda fuzzy on this so bear with me.....
Fury def. JP Lightning, Kasmir Hunk and some dude from Mt Vernon to become the #1 contender to the lightweight title. Not the best of matches that i have seen from the lightweights, but i will say that Fury has improved quite a bit lately.
J Grunge def The Baker via DQ when Havoc ran in to attack Grunge. Good to see some J Grunge again even though the match only lasted about 2 minutes.
Leatherface nearly mangled Pothead John but Pothead escaped when Michael Myers made the save. Leatherface gets wrestler of the night without a doubt. John tried and tried to stun the big man, but was owned by Leatherface. After a chokeslam, Leatherface got his chainsaw and went to mangle John, but then the lights went out and Michael Myers appeared in the balcony. Pothead and Dave Mathews escaped while Leatherface and Myers had the ulitmate staredown.
Death PSI def Smoke A to become the new lightweight champion, when Double R held the ladder for him. Not much to speak of here, i hate to say.
Jason Light() def. Toxic via choke in a submission match. The match started off with some good chain wrestling action, but broke down when Lights manager kept interfering. The ending saw Light give Toxic a superplex and then he rolled it through to a Delirious style choke, im not sure what its called.
Mitch Ryder def. Chris Micheals in an Evansville streetfight. This put Mitch back in his element of brawling. They fought all over the place and ended up back in the ring where Michaels tried to use the brass knuckles from last week. When he did Mitch blocked it, stole the knucks and used them on Michaels.
Tracy Smothers and Tim Renesto def Damage INC to win the vacated tag belts. Hands down, this was the match of the night. Tracy pretty much single handedly controled the brawling on the outside, using the guard rail on both Anthony and Buzz. The end of the match saw Tracy get thrown from the ring, while Buzz and Anthony worked over Renesto against the cage. This busted Renesto, but Double R was distracted by Tracy's manager and didnt see it. Tracy rolls in the ring and low blows Anthony and Dupp and then throws Renesto out of the ring. Tim rolled under the ring and Tracy hit Anthony with a foreign object and busted him. Double R saw it and ended the match.
Chris Champion def Lonestar for the CCW title after he hit Lonestar with the cowbell of doom. A lot of punches, a lot of silenece from the crowd, a few tube shots and a cowbell....the end.
Mitch Ryder won the stairway to hell match to win the CCW title. Long story short, it came down to Mitch, Champion, Lonestar and Michaels. Lonestar and Michaels teamed up to get Mitch out of the ring, but he went through the middle rope. Champion eliminated Michaels and Lonestar eliminated Champion. Lonestar raised his hands and thought he won, when Mitch re-entered the ring and tossed Star. Mitch Ryder is your new champ.
